Christian Petracca is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by Melbourne with the second overall pick in the 2014 AFL draft. Petracca is known for his strength, explosiveness, and versatility, capable of playing as a midfielder or forward. He won the Brownlow Medal in 2021 and was a key player in Melbourne's 2021 premiership-winning team, earning the Norm Smith Medal for best on ground in the Grand Final. He is a multiple-time All-Australian selection and considered one of the AFL's elite players.
